Our artisan-made charms are as beautiful as they are useful. Each charm includes specific beads to energetically help balance the body and mind of the dog whom it adorns. Inspired by Ayurveda (a healing science of utilizing nature to balance the body and mind) these one-of-a-kind collar charms are intended to provide energy and vibrational support to suit your dog’s individual needs.

Custom designed by Sama Dog, in partnership with a talented jewelry artist in San Diego, each charm is hand-made with stones and beads carefully selected for their energetic properties. All elements are carefully selected with mindful attention being paid to where they are sourced from and by whom.
With the collar charm ideal for an “Earthy” dog, the Carnelian (dark orange & shiny) is supported by the smaller bead Rudraksha (brown & bumpy), a combination designed to enliven and help your dog to feel more energy and vitality. The charm’s properties promote longevity and can provide a needed boost to an ailing or weak system.
Carnelian allows for happiness and dream fulfillment. It is supportive in opening the heart center and provides courage. It is a stone of protection and has the power to focus the mind. This will help your dog to move into a more healthy state of being.
The Rudraksha beads are regarded as timeless jewels of the gods. Rudraksha beads reverse the effects of stress, alleviate depression, eliminate anxiety and other mood disorders, and improve concentration. Often times an earthy dog gets sluggish and tired, and the Carnelian, supported by the Rudraksha bead, will help give your dog the rejuvenation it needs to feel balanced again.
[Ayurveda] Ideal Kapha balancing charm: If your dog is “Earthy” its dosha (body/mind type) is Kapha. When Kapha is out of balance, too much earth has accumulated in the mind, body, and environment. The result is a sense of slowness, congestion and dullness. The best stone for Kapha is Carnelian, bringing that reddish fire to invigorate.

***Recommended Usage***
The balancing charms can be used for animals of any kind, no matter the species. It is best to let the animal get used to it over 2-3 days. Start with the charm on or near your animal only for a few hours to see how they respond. Increase to a half day - then to full time.
